Ben is a third-year graduate student and NSFGRFP scholar in the Batista Lab at Yale studying computational chemistry. Specifically, he applies it to problems in alternative energy, specifically carbon dioxide mitigation and water splitting using the tools of DFT, EHT, and simulated vibrational spectroscopy. He is a member of the New Haven YCC chapter. He received his B.S. in chemistry from Brooklyn College/CUNY/Macaulay Honors College in 2013.
